Milton Dining is the brainchild of chef Alex Southwick.
I’ve worked in and led some of New Zealand’s top kitchens, both here in Queenstown and across the country, before creating Milton as a way to share my own style of private dining.
At Milton, I create private dining experiences that are truly one of a kind. As a Queenstown private chef, my cooking blends creative flair with classic techniques to craft seasonal, locally inspired meals that are unique and memorable. Every menu is personalised to suit your tastes, ensuring no two dining experiences are ever the same.
The name Milton comes from the street I grew up on. This is where I first discovered my love for cooking, foraging, and the way food brings people together.
Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner, a special celebration, or a bespoke event anywhere in Queenstown or the wider New Zealand region, my goal is to make it unforgettable.
